Consultations and Classes
In Home Consultations $100 per hour
(Serving Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Davis County)
1-hour in home plant care; we will work together on lighting and watering needs, dealing with pests, and repotting or potting up plants.
I offer a free 15 minute virtual consultation before coming to your house.
Beginner Houseplant Class
2-hour class $60 per person (up to 12 people)
- Perfect for a group activity (think BYOB and Leave with a Plant)
Includes class worksheet, and a beginner houseplant with pot to take home. The first hour of this class you will learn the basics of houseplant care; from proper lighting and watering, how to watch for root rot or ‘death gap’, and tips on pest prevention and control, etc. The second hour is the hands on portion of the class where we make my chunky soil mix, and then you will pot your new plant in a 6” terracotta or ceramic pot to take home.
1-hour class $30 per person (up to 12 people)
- Perfect for Girl Scout troops, or a quick activity
We will go over the basic lighting and watering needs, make our chunky soil mix, and pot a Pothos, or Spider plant in a 4” planter pot to take home.
Propagation Class
1 -hour class $30 per person (up to 15 people)
I will teach you the easiest form of propagating in this class (node propagation), and we will lightly touch on the other forms of propagation as well. Each attendant will go home with a champagne flute bouquet full of plant cutting propagations that you can later plant in soil.
